Let me say my hybrid pet is one of the finest dogs I have had.  Sugarbear was a purebred boxer with a lot of health problems but the sweetest, smartest dog.  Our dachshunds were from the same breeder and remarkably healthy but loved to hunt.  Kate, our labradoodle is sweet, loving and will retrieve, well, three times is her limit.  I have had about 20 dogs over the years, purebred, mutts (that's is when you don't know the daddy), hybrid, rescue, purchased and given to me.  It doesn't matter.  You have to find the right pet for you.  Kate, although she sheds some, can be groomed in 1-2 minutes.  She is patient, sweet and loves a good massage.  If you have other pets or are looking for a doodle to me their personality is more important then pedigree and how well they fit in the family.  Kate is perfect.
