I would be interested in a mini doodle romp in someone's back yard...

I used to go to Reber Ranch but my youngest doodle is in a breeding program and the breeder says no dog parks. We have been going to the Puyallup farmers market the last 2 Saturdays to walk around and have the dogs experience lots of people and smells.  Anyway, if you and the other local doods come up with a plan, let me know!

Thought of a few more things.  Where do you go for grooming? We have tried all over and I do some myself but for baths we go to Soggy Doggy (baths and they do nails!) and for the works we go to Pampered Pets.  I bought Andis clippers and have trimmed them up myself a few times.  It is great that they are basically hair balls and it doesn't have to be perfect.  Also, Horizon Pet Supply near Black Diamond is a good place to get good quality foods. The Goldendoodle/Labradoodle folks have a monthly romp in Seattle if your interested.  Sometimes 20-30 doods in one place.  I can tell you more about that if you want.  Also, there is a group that walks their doods every Wednesday in Bellevue.  I used to go to Reber a lot for play time but my younger dood is a breeding female so that is off limits now.

Hi Kristine.  Your Charlie and kids are very cute and I can see you are enjoying your new pup.  Matting and grooming can be a big challenge and I try to keep our dogs cut pretty short and comb them out every other day or so.  With all the mud and rain here, it is more manageable.  Glad you found me, a fellow Maple Valley-er.  Will the sun ever return?

I used to live in Maple Valley, just a couple of years ago! I lived just north of the Tahoma School District campus. I was a school nurse for Tahoma.
