Hi Lauren, you might want to check out Island Mini Doodles, here on Doodle kisses. They are the smallest doodles. About 8-13 lbs generally, as adults. Great with kids, smart as whips, like all doodles! You can find breeders there too.

Welcome! This is a great place to learn about doodles. There is not a ton of difference between labradoodles and goldendoodles so you might want to expand your search to either. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. There is an Owner Recommended Breeder group, area groups (where you might get some good recommendations), and a Breeder group too. Enjoy!
