Tether that won't choke

Any suggestions for something that won't wrap and potentially choke our new puppy Aussie labradoodle Hot Diggity Dog? I like to keep him out of his crate during the day and need something safe.

About Me:: I am from Chicago originally and am a life long entrepreneur (actually that means I didn't really work well in the corporate world!) in high-tech, professional boudoir photographer and writer. My darling husband Peter is retired a likes a good golf game. He has five grandchildren. Born in San Francisco and attended University of California. We both love to travel especially when we can take Frankie Baby with us.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Goldendoodle named Frankie Baby. Frankie is 7 (born September 2009) so sweet, bright and by far the best pet and family member. He's a 3/4 poodle, apricot to white. Loooong legs, and we've let his tail grow into a long silky flag. He's pretty spoiled with ear and tail brushing at least twice a day.

Hot Diggity is a mixed breed (born April 2016) Australian Labradoodle that we acquired from the same breeder as Frankie. He's a high spirited puppy that is already learning to be polite. Gorgeous wavy chocolate hair.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Friends of our introduced us to the breed and we immediately made a decision that this was the pet for us. Bright, well tempered, loyal and lovable in every way.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Frankie Baby and Hot Figgity love to walk the desert trails and run in the outdoors. They also love taking rides in the car. I never expected a 60 pound dog to be a lap dog but that is one of Frankie's favorite places in the house, on the couch in my lap when we're watching TV. Diggity isn't allowed on the couch but is a cuddle bug when we play with him.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: An amazing groomer at PetSmart. She specializes in poodles so she does a great Goldendoodle.

Favorite Doodle Products?: Pure Vita in the various flavor formulas.
