About Me:: I'm a multi-media journalist and author, married to a wonderful recording artist/agent, and we love living in Los Angeles with our Golden Doodle KC. I'm very involved in the annual Malibu Doodle Romp, and am happy to answer any questions you may have about it.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Our Golden Doodle is from a Wisconsin breeder, and goes by the name of KC. Our two boy cats, who were here first, don't like her much, but she loves them, and after four years they're finally getting used to her. We have no children at home these days, so KC gets lots of love, attention and walks. She is such a joy, we're thinking about getting another.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We had been researching Doodles for some time, and set out to find one as soon as we re-finished the backyard of our new house to be more dog friendly. The first day we started looking, we found an ad in the Los Angeles Times that said KC needed a new home. We immediately drove over, met her, fell in love and took her home. It was Meant to Be.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We love taking her to the beach. She is such a joy to watch there. Walking her, cuddling with her, and socializing with other doodle owners is also great fun. And she LOVES road trips.

If you go to the page where you posted the discussion regarding the Malibu Romp you will see a blue tab near the upper-right corner of that page that say "Options"...just click on that box, then you will see the option that says "Edit Discussion". Just click on that and you should be able to edit it, but I don't know if you can delete it.

Have fun at the romp! I was there a few years ago with my doodles and I hope to return someday.

For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
