Smelly ears!

One of our goldendoodles Bootes has really smelly ears. She's not open-faced like her sister Noodles so she's shaggier and has a lot more hair around her eyes and in her ears. I know we should have…Continue

One of our 6-month-old goldendoodles, Noodles, has gone through five crate mats, two in the last two days. The first few she would just tear and get into the filling, but the last two times she tore…Continue

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We brought home two F1b in July 2013. They are sisters born on May 22: Captain Noodles, a female peachy-cream and Commander Bootes, a smaller female black. Our family dog, Ruby (a Keeshond), died last year and we were looking for another dog to love and be a part of our family. We didn't plan on getting two and there have been many moments when we regretted that decision, but both dogs are a lot of fun. I'm still worried about the fighting. It has subsided somewhat but when it's bad, it's really bad! We were trying to re-home Noodles because of that but decided against it and are trying to make it work. We are hoping things will improve once we get a fence installed in our backyard.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
We love the doodle face and personality!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Haven't groomed yet since they're still puppies.

Hi Lisa,

I just saw your post.  We have a year old golden doodle and were looking for more of an experience dog. The training and all that we were thinking of bypassing this time around LOL. But I am open to a younger doodle.  Do you have current pictures of the one you are willing to part with? I would like to take a look.

Thanks!

Sam

Yes, we are in California, but would be glad to pay for shipping.  I have had three doodle pups shipped by air, and no problems.  I think Continental is the best airlines for shipping animals and they fly into San Francisco.  They send all the seeing eye dogs after their training.

Great. Hopefully it'll be a nice day for the drive. Let me know what you think of them. Tell them Gus says Hi. His mom was Fancy.

Great. Hope you have a good experience if you go with them. Please be careful in your area and southern PA. Lots of Amish puppy mills.

Hi Lisa. We had a good experiance with Callaway. We had visited several breeders and heard of them through a friend. Their website was down at the time so they weren't online. We visited them and brought Gus home that same day. She had a litter of 10 F-1B's and we were able to have our pick. One thing I do notice is she hasn't raised her prices since we got Gus. He was $950. and this was in 2006.
