What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a mini golden doodle. Her name is Dandy and she will be four years old on January 28, 2012 She is mostly a white straight coat doodle with a little bit of caramel color. She weighs 29pounds. She has a fantastic personality.She is so smart and knows so many words. She is extremely gentle with all of our grandchildren. She loves going on long walks with my husband and being with us on a constant basis. Doesnt know a stranger. Loves everyone.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We chose her because they are known to be great with children. She has loved our grandchildren since they were babys and is very gentle with them. We also chose her because she doesnt shed at all.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We enjoy everything we do with Dandy. She is ALWAYS with us. She is super loyal and loves being with us.

Favorite Doodle Products?: We use a comb on her rather than a brush.We make sure to comb her every single day. Missing a day makes it hard on her and even harder for our grooming lady to do a good job. We get her groomed every six weeks and she always looks beautiful.
We also attire her with Ohio State clothes during the season, since we are fans.

I wonder if Mike would carry around a picture of our dogs??? I should slip one in with his stuff and see what he says! He doesn't even carry a picture of me or have one on his desk...whats up with that? lol

We really have a lot of fun with our dogs. They have been on vacation with us several times and we had a blast. In all the years I have had a dog I have never taken them on vacation. The only time they didn't go is when we went out west in October (we got married in Vegas). We didn't take the dogs, we took Mike's Mom and we all had a great time.

Have you ever gone to the dog park over by the lake in Celina? We usually stop there before I take them to the nursing home to see my mom so they can release some energy. We didn't go last night but we should have!! Maybe we could meet up there sometime.

Could you take Dandy in to see your mom? Would she enjoy it? I told Mike about last night and how some of the residents took interest in the dogs. Remember Sheba barking at the lady in the room? I looked at the lady several times and wished I could take them in to see her. I could trust Sheba more than Duke. I think it would be great to have them become thearpy dogs and take them in to see the residents...I need to get on that!! Dandy would be a great size for a thearpy dog for the nursing home!
