- About Me:
- I'm a 24 year old student (Egyptology and African studies) living in Gummersbach, Germany.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have one black Goldendoodle which was born on August 28, 2010. His name is Robin. We also own a turtle called Dave that constantly ignores Robin, even though he'd love to catch his attention.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I love Golden Retrievers, yet my mother always wanted something more frizzy. In the end we decided on an intelligent, medium sized dog with frizzy fur. At best he shouldn't lose much of it and he shouldn't be too difficult to train. Poodles have never been our thing lookswise though. One day my mom came across a Goldendoodle online and sent me the link. I was absolutely excited bc I had never seen something that cute in my life. When we saw them live we just couldn't resist anymore.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- To have little "fights" where we roll all over the floor together and teaching him tricks. Currently we are working on a ball trick where he has to put a ball in two different buckets and we tell him which one to put it into. It already works pretty fine. :)
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do it myself, but it doesn't look all that good yet...
