Hi Missy, It sounds like you do have your hands full but it will get better. I forgot that Beeko walks on the floor. Luckily Bailey just hangs out on top of his cage. If I remember correctly, I spent the first several months getting Chloe to ignore Bailey and corrected her when she barked or reacted to him. I think I watched some programs on TV about it and this worked for me. At Teddy's young age, he is not expected to have his commands down solid. Bailey too showed no fear of Chloe and he was the one who teased her. But to this day, she still ignores him for the most part and he still continues to taunt her. When Chloe is by his cage, he immediately goes down to the seed guard to get close to her and she just backs away. I think Chloe instinctively knows that Bailey's beak can cause some serious damage. I hope Teddy is sleeping through the night without having to go out. That makes it easier...
Just wanted to say hi and am wondering how the pup and Beeko, and you, of course, are doing. I do remember that puppyhood is quite intense! I hope everyone is settling in and you are all enjoying "family" time.
I saw your post re getting your puppy soon. How exciting! Do get a video of their first meeting if you can! Since Chloe turned 2 last month, I can no longer post in that group! I wanted to share a positive incident between my two. A few weeks ago, Chloe and I got home from the dog park and I had left Bailey out as usual. I headed straight for the bathroom and Chloe came in and started crying and then ran into the living room, still crying. When I got there, she was standing over Bailey who was on the floor on this side of my barrier! She continued to cry until I picked him up! Then she kissed him and sniffed. I was so proud of her! Please let me know when you get your puppy!

Great it worked, so we can keep in touch! I will definitely let you know about a group. I am not very good with compuiters, just know the basics.
Thanks Missy for the compliments on Libby! She is the "best" dog we have ever had and amazes us everyday. I can imagine how excited you are to get your Doodle! These Doodles are so loving and family friendly! Libby loves to snuggle and cuddle with us while watching tv and it just warms our hearts. Puppyhood can be a challenge, but it is also lots of fun. You should join the Puppy Madness group, it is very informative. Be sure and post pictures when you bring your Doodle home:)
