About Me:: We are lovers of LABRADOODLES Soo much we started out breeding F1B Labradoodles in Rhode Island.Now we breed F3& Australian Labradoodles .Our love for this breed began in 2003 when we adopted Kelsey, a first generation Labradoodle. Such a joy. She is so much fun because she loves to play ball , drops it back at our feet and she loves to swim, and she is so easy to train. She has been a proven super mom. She always makes us proud.
Kozmo isn't a doodle but without him, we couldn't have started breeding. He is the calmest standard poodle we have ever met. Their puppies get rave reviews on being super mellow sweet and calm. We constantly receive great feedback.
The intelligence of Kozmo is super. He has been an added delight to our family. He is retired now. We use Beckett to Sire litters with Monet & Autumn. Beckett is a son of Kelsey & Kozmo. Penn Hip scores 100%.
Monet is the cutest red F1B labradoodle. She is very sweet and friendly. Wags her tail to anyone. She & Autumn and now, Finnegan are the current dams here at Lighthouse Labradoodles.

Monet- F1b Red Labradoodle
Finnegan- F1b Labradoodle Daughter of Kelsey
Shadow-Australian Labradoodle ( ALCA)

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We like the name "Doodle" just makes you laugh...and they are super friendly family dogs. F1b's & Higher are generally more allergy friendly because they will not shed, but you have to keep them groomed. A tiny trade off for an affectionate friendly intelligent best friend canine.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Play ball, swim, walk them in open fields, bring them to the beach...train, PHOTOGRAPH...and laugh with them, as they make us giggle out loud alot.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Myself and Barbara a wonderful inexpensive groomer in Warwick, RI

Great to hook up with you here. Thank you very much for Hero. He is a fantastic dog. He is 7 months old now and has aced his obedience classes. In fact, he took intermediate and advanced together because the trainer just couldn't keep up with him, LOL He learns so fast it is scary. His bow/stay is so perfect they call him the "Bow Master".

I can certainly understand your concerns about parks and walking with the dogs. Lucy is still young, so we've been careful. Planned playdates have been best so far- or quiet beaches.
You must have a beautiful walk- Warwick Neck right? My sister works at Overbrook.
