Adult black labradoodle named Kandy who is sweet, cooperative and easy.
Second adult black labradoodle that we actually call a "poodlador" because he looks so much more "poodle-ish". Got as a 2 year old, no socialization, no training, reactive to men. So, a work in progress.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Kandy and Murphy's breeder is my sister-in-law and she has always raved about her dogs. We wanted a smart, friendly family pet and that is exactly what we got with Kandy.

We took Murphy from her as a favor - his original family was a poor placement and he was returned due to poor behavior. Yeah, if you keep an adult doodle crated more than free, he's not going to like his crate and he's going to be mean when you force him back in. We are working on all of the things his first family should have taught him.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Go to the Fiesta Island -- an off-leash beach where she likes to race up and down the sand with other dogs while the kids play in the water.

Does your doodle(s) shed?

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I do the day-to-day stuff and a local groomer does the major chores.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Anything she can chew on and not destroy!
