Hi Roger - welcome!  I have 2 goldendoodles and I trim both of their faces and around the eyes.  I love seeing a dog's eyes - how else can you know what they are thinking :-)  I keep the scissors pointed away from the eyes and snip the hair closest to the eyes very short, then go with the hair at an angle to blend.

This is a great place to share about doodles. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
