Scout is 3 months old and is doing so well in every area but DIGGIING. Whenever he is in the yard alone, he loves to dig holes. Does anyone have any solutions?Continue

- I am a recently retired teacher and a grandmother of 4 children from 6 to 12 years old. I have a female shitzu mix, Nikki, in addition to my new male golden doodle,, Scout.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Scout is a 54 pound light apricot colored golden doodle with adorable white markings. His mom was a medium size golden doodle, and his dad was a standard poodle. I bought him when he was 14 weeks old. He is the little brother of my sweet shitzu mix, Nikki, who is now 7 years old.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have always been in love with this breed. I love the golden's temperament and the non shedding quality of the poodle. Together they make my perfect dog!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- I love taking him for walks, and going to dog parks with Nikki. He also loves playing with all my grandchildren who live very nearby.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- We go to our neighborhood Pappy's Pet Lodge where I take Nikki.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Balls of all kinds and chew toys top the list!

Hi Roz, nice to "meet" you! We're less than 3 miles from you! Barley would love a play date with Scout. I'll warn you though...Barley has a lot of energy! :-P
On the main page, put your cursor on the word "groups", you will see four choices - my groups; browse all; my groups and start a group. Click on start a group and just follow the instructions. When you are done, just click on add group. You will be the monitor for your group. So when someone joins you will acknowledge the fact they have joined and and welcome them. You can also start discussion within your group. check out some of the groups you have joined and you will see how some do it. Have fun!
Roz ~ I did a quick advanced search for members in Dallas - it showed four. I imagine their are others in the Dallas area. Just an idea, you could start a group for Texas doodles (or even just Dallas Doodles). You never know you might be able to get a doodle romp together. See you around on DK.
Scout is adorable! We are waiting for our Goldendoodle who will be joining us soon (May 29). We are getting ours from a breeder too. I can't wait! You look so happy. Congratulations.
Hi Roz ~ I saw your status post on your adorable Scout. Just an fyi - members seldom post status lines because they drop of the main page quickly and you do not get many responses. You might start a discussion introducing yourself and Scout so everyone can see how adorable he is. When you get a chance be sure to check out the groups section on the main page and join as many as you like. There are over 300 groups so certainly something for everyone. If you are into photography be sure to join the photograph group - it is extremely active.
