Inflammatory bowel disease

Our 8 year old Australian labradoodle has been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. Are others running into this issue?

- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have an Australian Labradoodle (multi-gen), 8 months old, male, named Dash. He is from SpringCreek Labradoodles in Oregon, sire was Gunner and Dam was Aleshia. Dash was born on September 26th, 2009, and currently weighs 22 pounds.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I wanted a non-shedding dog, and after doing quite a bit of research into various breeds I determined that the labradoodle had the personality best suited to me. Once I found they came in smaller sizes, I was hooked. I love big dogs, but didn't want to take care of one.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Go to the beach. Go on walks where he can be off-leash. I like to sing to him. I sing old songs and change the lyrics so they are all about him. I love to brush him, and love to cuddle with him.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do some, but I take him for cuts to a professional
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- I like using human brushes on him. The kind that have plastic nubbins on the end of each bristle, and I also like the wide tooth combs. Dash didn't like being groomed with dog combs because they pulled on his hair too much.
