About Me:: I live in Albany, NY, am retired, and one of my favorite things is to play with my Goldendoodle. I have met other Doodle owners in the area and enjoy getting together with them.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Molly is a Goldendoodle who was born May 23, 2004. She loves playing in the water, especially if it involves a ball. She lives with a big tom cat named Bailey who is also about 5 years old.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I previously had a Golden Retriever. She was a very special dog and when she died at 15 years of age I wanted to get another one. I did not want to deal with all the shedding however. I was watching a special on PBS about "designer" dogs and they featured the Doodle. It sounded perfect - a golden without the shedding. Plus they're just so cute that you have to smile when you look at them.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Molly and I love to take walks. She also will play ball until I get tired. In the summer her favorite thing is to play ball in the lake until she is water logged. We swim together, but it isn't much fun for me because she keeps trying to retrieve me back to the beach.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I have her groomed every 4 weeks at Paws and Claws in Albany.
