Profile Information

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a male Fl Goldendoodle named Shaggy, name's fitting don't cha think? Shaggy is the goofiest baby I have ever seen at almost 18mos. I dont' think he will ever grow up! He is so loveable and loves being a lap dog at roughly 65lbs.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We choose the Goldenddoodle after a lot of research, and was attracted to the personality traits of the breed. We liked the size of the dog, it's looks and the low shedding factor, (somewhere along the the line, Shaggy forgot he isn't suppose to shed.)

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We mostly take walks and play a lot of catch and retreive. Shaggy loves the tennis balls, jumping and just being around people.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Yes!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Professional groomer, The City Dog, Columbus, Ohio

When our dogs got a different kind of flea once, the 'cure' was to administer the Frontline Plus 3 weeks after the first application - this got any left over eggs that hatch. You will need to bug bomb your house thoroughly and spray your yard too - all in the 3 week intervals. Since fleas lay eggs everywhere, I would wash everything that can be washed, move all furniture to vacuum underneath (daily if you possibly can), change the vacuum bag each time you vacuum.
