What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have an Australian Labradoodle. Her name is Nugget, aka Nuggy. She just turned 3 years old. She has been an amazing addition to our family. She loves to swim, run, run, run and play anything "her people" are playing. She loves people, chasing deer and barking at the garbage men. (We think she thinks they're taking our stuff....which they are.)

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: After a lot of research, we thought this breed would be a good match for our family.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We love to take Nuggy on long walks, work on her training (she's getting very good at our "at home" agility course) take her on car rides and just cuddle up with her.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I do most of her grooming, but we do take her to a "real" groomer about 3 times a year.

Favorite Doodle Products?: We love our Les Pooch brush (purchased at Doodle Country store) She loves her Bravo Bully Sticks!

Relationship Status:: Married

Just bragging on our dog!

OK, so I know I'm a proud mama of Nugget, but I wanted to just take a minute to brag on her and remind everyone how great these dogs are. I had laparoscopic surgery on Monday (I'm fine and I won't bore you with the details) and Nugget's routine really went from highly active to almost completely sedentary overnight. My DH took Monday and Tuesday off, so Nugget still got her walks, but on Wed AM after everyone else went off to work or school, Nugget and I were on our own. On a normal day, we'd… Continue

I just read Anne's post about her day with allergy testing for her dood yesterday. We were starting the process for having the same thing done with Nugget. I know that there has been a lot of allergy info posted on DK already (We have benefited from it all....esp the help of Karen and Jack) but I thought our Nugget story may help another doodle and his/her owner.
