About Me:: I count the years of my life in dogs! Went 1 1/2 yr without Maurice-my standard and just got Skylar-(Just calculated my 13th dog!)-Now there is so much to do! To have a dog that can go anywhere is my goal-socializing/exercise/seeing how far I can take him-maybe not agility like Maurice-he really got amped up, so mellow and friendly is all I ask for. I am mother of 2 beautiful girls 21 and 27 and married 35 years to my best friend, Andy-

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Skylar-Goldendoodle, male, 8 months old
Max-/Dapple blue/eyed Dachshund, male, 10 years old
Rusty-Min. Poodle, male, 12 years old

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I had a big cream shaggy mix/ named "Rolly" 85 lbs of love-was our kids family dog lab/golden retriever. Later, had Black standard Poodle "Maurice"-did agility but- passed suddenly-waited 1 1/2 years AND FINALLY FOUND A GOLDENDOODLE-"Skylar (Mikoc" means adorable)-from a young serbian couple in Queens, NY she was pregnant due 6/2/11-well the Golden Retriever's mild manners and the grace intelligence of a standard-Is a no brainer and they are BEAUTIFUL/QUIRKY/LOVING!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: OUT TO BREAKFAST/RUNS on beach/our street/HIKES in Vermont/KICK SOCCER BALL/TRAIN OBEDIENCE/HUGS AND JUST WATCHING HIS WORLD UNFOLD WITH EACH NEW ACTIVITY-Skylar goes to parks and in stores-loves other dogs and children! Could not find a better companion -will become a therapy dog!

Favorite Doodle Products?: Skylar loves sticks-haha no products but, invest in groomer quality clippers and spray! My sister is a groomer so, I have different blades and do my own grooming-keep short in summer and use a blade that leaves an inch or more rest of year-pay attention to face/mats! Conditioner helps!
