- I will be picking up our first Goldendoodle family member 8-22-13. She will be eight weeks old and though I have several names picked out, I will not know her name until I meed her face to face. My family and I are excited to be bringing her to our family.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I had a Golden Retriever for about 12 years, she passed earlier this year. I wasn't sure we would ever have another dog.

Welcome DaLynn! I am also from the area....West Knoxville in fact. You sure have a cutie! I know you have only had her a few days, but have you named her yet? Is she a mini or will she be more like the Standard? You will enjoy being part of the group. There is a lot of great information on the Doodles here.
