About Me:

I'm fresh out of nursing school with a husband and two kids. Just added a Goldendoodle to our family now that things have finally slowed down a bit, prior to beginning my career, and we are able to proficiently train this sweet pup. I had several childhood dogs but this is a first for my own family, so this is all new to me and I'm learning lots.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

We have an apricot, male F1 Goldendoodle. His name is, Duncan. He's currently 8 weeks old (BD: 6/16/2015)) and a very calm puppy so far-just picked up today so we'll see what tomorrow brings. He's our very first pet and the kids (6&2) adore him.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

My son had allergies to other family dogs. He's never been tested but surely they sprung up every time. I read the goldendoodles were hypo-allergenic and loved the tender personalities of those I'd met. I couldn't resist their cuteness, think dogs are wonderful to grow up alongside and didn't want my kids missing out. They're a true best friend when you need them and hope my kids gain the bond I had with my childhood pups.
