- I recently moved to Phoenix Arizona and lost my Wheaton (Benson) the first year here... he was 16 and six months ago I just lost my Lab/Rott mix...Mollie and I swore I would never own a dog again. Well last month I found the cutest little Labradoodle from a breeder in California and just got him last week...8 week old Jaxon and the new love of my life.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Australian Labradoodle...Jaxon..only pet now. I might get another one in a year from now
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- The best of almost all the dogs I have owned in the past, combined into one non shed, smart and happy.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Challenge him to see how actually intelligent these cute creatures are

- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I need to find a groomer here in Phoenix area! Does anyone know if Petco or Petsmart is trained on how to groom a Labradoodle or do they do what they think it might look like?

- I really do enjoy the crate when the little monster sleeps...boy does he have a lot of energy.

Hello Tom and welcome to the group. Our newest LD joined us last week. She is a Chocolate and white parti Australian Doodle. She is 8 weeks old. Hope you enjoy the group. Lots of information on here.
Thank you for saying my guys are cute, too. Owen is 1 year 5 months and still very much a puppy! Kona is almost 5 and has an old soul. He was always, always a wise old man. ;o)
Jaxon is so cute! As I am sure you know, this is the toughest time of all! (Funny how we forget about these days after older dogs for so long)... So many days I wanted to just throw in the towel when Tori was a puppy...He's adorable! Welcome to DoodleKisses! I am sure you are going to really enjoy this site!
Your puppy is seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! What a little doll! I hope you solve the biting problem. We used the suggestion of loudly yipping when the puppy put his teeth on us... it mimics what the mother or littermate would do to stop the biting. There are lots of discussions about this. Try doing a search in the Puppy Madness group.
Thanks! Yes, they do get better, but you need to be on top of it all the time with consistent training--join the puppy madness group for more help! A lot of people have good advice--like keeping the puppy tethered to you all the time with a leash--or in the crate when not tethered. My puppy had his momma and auntie here with him for entertainment and he has been great from day 1, but they can be CRAZY!! The 9 I have here now are tearing up the kitchen and running around like little nuts. Get to a beginner's obedience class pronto and you will have Jaxon under control in no time--remember how smart they are--you need to be smarter!
Had to congratulate you on your adorable parti--he is a brown and white version of my black and white parti--he was born at my house to my female LD last New year's day--wow--Jaxon is very cute!! Does he have green eyes?
My sister lives in Scottsdale and works for a vet if you want a recommendation for veterinary care--but you must have one already now that I think about it--I had a Wheaten for 12 years--he unfortunately was a total NUT, but we loved him anyway..now I have three LDs and raise puppies for my breeder--so I am the CRAZY one now...Welcome!

Thank you for the friend request. I love the parti doodles. He is so cute. So sorry about the loss of your other dogs. They are part of your family. We lost our 14 year old sheltie and 18 year old cat in the last few years and said we would not get another dog. But here we are with three dogs now and loving every minute of it. I know you will enjoy your puppy.
