About Me:: Live on Vancouver Island with a large fenced property. Love animals and especially dogs

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We lost our 12 yr old Samoyed this past summer and are heartbroken but getting ready to think of adopting at least if not two young (pup and one a bit older) large dogs.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Would like dogs that shed less than samoyeds or other very heavily coated dogs.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We like to play, hike and just love to be with dogs.

Got the message you sent to the Doodles In Need Group...Barb, if you read the information at the top of the main page of the group, you will see that we are NOT a rescue; we simply list homeless doodles that we see on petfinder or other sources as a service...to get the dogs pictures & stories out there. We may be able to help with transportation, but we do not find dogs for people, approve adoptions, contact individuals about dogs needing homes, etc. All the contact info is provided with the listings, but you must do the searching, applying, etc., on your own. There are some tips in the group discussions to help you locate homeless doodles and get in line for adoption, and we can answer general questions in these areas as well.
