About Me:: I live in new jersey. I am retired and I am thoroughly enjoying having a dog in my life again ( and much to his surprise so is my husband.) Our grandchildren live nearby and adore our doodle.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a mini goldendoodle. Her name is Amber. She is a
wonderful dog, friendly, intelligent, loyal and oh so cute.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Allergy friendly.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: playing ball is one of her favorite activites. she retrieves the ball on a fly and brings it back to play with you. she has also created her own ball game in which she occupies herself for 5-10 minutes.

At 1:08pm on March 4, 2009, Kate and Maci said…: Hi Eleanor - be sure to join Jersey Doodles because what I do is I send out a broadcast message to all the members of Jersey Doodles when we are planning something - one e-mail to everyone so if you join, you will get a message whenever there is something planned. I don't think there will be any other ones at Sandy Hook since dogs are not allowed on the beach after March 15 because of the nesting birds - they don't want the dogs disturbing the nests. I'm not sure how familiar you are with this doodle thing, but every year in April the International Doodle Owners Group does a Romp Around the World event where they try to coordinate all the different states having romps on the same day (which usually doesn't work) - I just saw that New Jersey's is scheduled for April 18 in Princeton. If you want more info - let me know. Now go join Jersey Doodles (LOL)
