Hi! I am an owner of doodles, as my pets, and also make doodle puppies for other families to enjoy, as well.
I love doing what I do!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
I have Tinkerdoodle, MoonGlow, Valentine, Bowdoodle, Diamond, SnowWhite, Scarlett, Mona Lisa, and Goldie who is in a guardian home. They are some of my mothers or mothers to be.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I have learned that this is an excellent hybrid. Most of my doodles do not shed at all, and some very little. I made all of my own doodles!
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Run and play in the back yard. Teaching them good behaviors, and playing fetch. One of my most favorite things to do also, is to put out my face for Doodle Kisses, and I am inundated in kisses, and a lot of cold nose eskimo kisses from crowded doodles all trying to get in on the group kiss! That is why I like the name of this website so much! Very cute!
Does your doodle(s) shed?
A little bit but nothing major
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
I am trying to so do by myself. Currently, have a family of dogs looking like plucked chickens but I enjoy the time with them.
Favorite Doodle Products?
many, and I also like my book, GOLDENDOODLE to give to my owners, if they would like it.
I also have GOLDENDOODLE for sale on the merchandise page of my website.

Hello.
A new person in my neighborhood. I just found this site. I hope as you sell you puppies you wll give them these sites so that maybe I can meet them and my Shayna and I can make playdates. I lived originally in Northern Calif. where there are plenty of trails to take dogs, but here there is almost nothing unless you take them o leash, which we hate....so we need friends to play. I will be fostering soon....got to go, Shayna needs me...
Hi, K Lee! Hope all is well in RI and that all furry friends are doing great!
Oaklee continues to amaze us and is a source of constant joy and happiness. Although she plays often with our 10yr old mini Cocker, Ellie, we really think she might need a pal closer to her own size.
This may sound like a goofy question, but do the Golden Doodles also come in the different sizes? We have seen a few in person and they are adorable -- just big and although we walk about 3 - 4 miles per day and go for bike rides, we don't have a fenced in back yard.
Let me know your thoughts on this if you get a moment.
Thanks! Hope all is well...
Hi Chastity! You must mean Hiawatha in my Make Way for Puppies discussion about new puppies! He is a he, and the flower in his head, I actually call his feather, and thus his name after a handsome Indian Brave. The feather or flower, is his real hair!!!! He was born like that and I adore him. That was his puppy picture and I will attach here, a more adult picture! Thanks for liking him, and Happy Fall! Kathryn lee, makewayfordoodles!
Thanks for reminding me on the flu shot... Two of my friends have already had something flu-like in the past few weeks. It seems early for that.
I keep looking at Oaklee's beautiful locks and thinking... "Hmm. A Floabie would be good for this!" Remember the Floabie? She's already been to the groomer once and I might try to take her a few more times before attempting this myself. She's not very thrilled (actually not at ALL) when I try to brush her and I can't imagine her reaction to a scissor-wielding amateur stylist! Yikes. Scares me to think about it, too.
Big question, though: Do you pluck their ears? I canNOT imagine doing this and am wondering if it would be more productive to use something like one of those twirling nose trimmers. I have been using the ear wash solution about once each week and that's managed to keep them fairly clean.
How are the puppies today? Hope everybody got some sleep last night.

PS. Was laughing when I read your "grooming" comment on your page. I currently use a great groomer, but have toyed with the idea of purchasing my own tools and giving it a try. Every time I get the new Fosters & Smith catalog, I thumb through the grooming stuff and think that I should definitely try this. Did you take a class or did you learn simply from doing it? Maybe I should test my skills on humans first!!
How was your day? Ellie, Oaklee and I are all very excited about the thought of new people arriving today!!
We hope that all is well and that you and the pups' Mom both are getting some rest.
