Hi
I am an elementary school principal and a busy mother of five children ranging in age from 13 to 22.
Basil came to live with us four years ago and life has never been the same since.
My daughter and I run with Basil in the morning about four times a week. He knows the route and will start running and keep us going no matter how much we might want to slow down. He is a great personal trainer!
Basil loves other dogs especially little ones...I think that he believes that he is really only about 1/10th of his size.
Basil has enriched our family life and if I had more time I would definitely have more doodles! (Maybe in 20 years when I retire!)
Totally new to this site and 'social networking' in general. I have started a group for cottagers with doodles and noticed that you are a cottager. Not sure how to join up with others who have the same interest. If you are interested please join my group as I know come summer time I will need some advice on cottage dog issues! Thanks, Linda
Basil turned 4 in July. We drive past the York Reg Forest on the way to the cottage. I have thought about taking Basil up there. You said that you ride horses up there? Does Gracie think that they are just big Doodles? I wonder how Basil would react to that? He is 90lbs and he runs with myself and my 16 year old daughter in the early morining most weekdays.
A romp up there would be fun. Have you attended any of the ones out in Oshawa?
Yep that's my Rosco in my profile pic...and the apricot dog in my other pics =) He's fabulous and lying here in my office at work now napping...I keep forgetting he's here! I love the name Basil...so cute!
