About Me:: I am the actual birth mother of Libby Louise, although her Godmother has initiated membership into doodle kisses, I am an interior designer, and have a house with a fenced-in yard where my "dogthter" could play if she would ever go anywhere without me. Robin Solomon, an active participant in this website, was my college roommate (the Ohio State University) and is my dog's Godmother! I enjoy gardening, cooking, walking with LLG and the shore. I had more hobbies before I had Libby, but she makes it hard to leave the house!

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a 62 lb black/silver little girl. She is 6 years old and is the best thing ever. she is very spoiled and very needy and it is all, admittedly, my fault. She HATES water, loves ice cream, and has 2 serious boyfriends. I have discussed acquiring other pets with Libby but she prefers living in a 1 dog household.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I grew up with black standard poodles and always thought that was the breed for me, but they tended to be a little high-strung and "poufier" than I wanted. Then I met this breed and it was love at first sight.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Anything....she improves everything I do. I wish that I could bring her everywhere with me.

Favorite Doodle Products?: I use leashes from a company called Cetacea. They are fabulous and don't drag on the ground. They also make cool tag holders that can easily be moved from one collar to another. (I don't dress up my dog, but she has MORE than her fair share of collars and tags!)

I too had a black standard poodle and after he passed I found Australian Labradoodles while researching non-shedding breeds and fell in love all over again.
