About Me:: I am a stay at home mum with three sons and our first ever dog, a goldendoodle! I am British born, lived in Minnesota for 14 years but moved to Georgia in July. Very homesick for Minnesota :(

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: We have a goldendoodle puppy who was a rescue dog. His mum, a golden retriever was rescued from a puppy mill and shortly afterwards gave birth to 11 puppies, 8 boys and 3 girls. Our doodle is a boy named Dougal. He is presently 14 weeks old and we love him to bits. We have two rescue cats that are now 8 years old, we have had them since kittens, they are named Gilbert and Sullivan. They are slowly getting used to Dougal!

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Rescue

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: We didn't really choose a doodle it just happened that we found out after adopting him that he was a doodle. His mum is a golden retriever but we didn't know who daddy was.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: We love doing everything with him. He loves to cuddle, play and loves to be brushed.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Groomingdales in MN, yet to find one in GA.

Relationship Status:: Married

I agree that I hope the surgery doesn't change the boys' personalities. I don't think it will. I just don't know how I will get him to "take it easy". Um, I don't think that is possible. I have been putting off getting him a hair cut. I know it will make it easier once he starts to lose his puppy coat, and he will dry off so much faster, but I just love the shaggy look.

I also love how doodles can look so different, it makes each one of them unique and individual! I think it's fun to see how each one turns into this adorable dog with a sweet unique personality as well. We have had curly, wavy, straight, and scraggly, but they are all the best dogs!
