What a difference time and a loving home make!
Mazie is adorable and looks like she is pretty healthy now.
On July 30, 2015 Max and I adopted Mazie. She is a three year old Miniature Labradoodle. Mazie was rescued on July 3rd from an Ohio Puppy Mill by Safe Harbor Animal Rescue. She came to us weighing only 20 lbs with ribs and back bones protruding and full of worms. The worms have been treated and she has continued to gain since her arrival and has become a definite part of our family. Tomorrow we go to the vet for our first check up and I am anxious to see how much weight she has gained. She is becoming less skittish everyday and a great sister for her brother Max. We walk together on a leash side by side and max goes at a slower pace to acomodate Mazie. He shares his toys very well with her. Max is a three year old standard Labradoodle. He is just adorable.
Check out Buddy!
Thanks Nancy,I'll give it a try.
Lynette, we resorted to a bark e-collar that we use when we leave the doodles in the RV and sometimes use at home to discourage barking with the dogs that recently moved in next door.
