Rhonda, Marabelle & Jeriki's Blog – October 2011 Archive (5)

I have discovered that she's not as good on the leash as I thought. If I bring my sons for our walk she just looses all concentration any thoughts. When its me and her she sits when a car is coming, stays right beside me. When the boys come its like she has P.A.D.D.  and the boys are not doing anything to get her going they are just walking with us.

Marabelle has started barking at me in the mornings when I don't get her food quick enough.  I have let her know that I do not like this behaviour by practising the whole Ceser Milan thing, getting her to do eye contact and sit nicely for her food. any sugestions on what my responce should be when she barks at me for food? ( I don't want her to do this ). Other than that, what a great week, we've had a few accidents, nothing major though. Marabelle is walking on a leash very well, she sits…

Hi Guys and Gals,

 

Well it was a successful day today. I credit my Breeder for such a sweet heart Thanks Barb. She is sooooo good already. I know a puppy is a puppy, but wow what a difference from others.  She is so calm, but still a puppy. she already shadows my every step outside. she already goes to her crate on her own, when tired. she hasn't barked at all, and she's only whimpered a few times while I was preparing dinner, and had to have her in her crate until I was ready…

1 more sleep. I will be picking Marabelle up tomorrow, any advice for our first day???? So excited lol

Hi all and thank you for the warm welcome. I am super excited about our little Aussie beauty,and I think my friends are getting a little tired of hearing about her lol. After much deliberation I think we have all agreed on a name for our little girl, Marabell I believe will be her name. I can't wait until I have cute funny stories to share, and I am looking forward to all the advice I have noticed on here.
