  I knew Oliver's birthday was in April, but i admit to not knowing exactly what day:(.   I looked at his papers and he is 3 today!!!  And he has stayed at this home longer than any other homes!  And it's going  to stay that way forever!  Any other doodle birthday's in April?  If so...  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The question has been asked many many many times before.  I'm sure we've all heard it,  it's known as the oldest joke in the book!  But why DID the chicken cross the road?  I mean,  we aren't the chicken, so we can't really ever know why.  But here is my favorite theory,  courtesy of someone on the internet.  

                               One day my uncle was sitting on his couch watching TV,  when all of a sudden, an ostrich jumped out from behind…

Last night (or maybe it was Sunday?) Oliver did the cutest thing.  My dad, Ron Asker (also on DK) Was flying our RC helicopter with Oliver in the same room. So Ollie started baking, well more like the noise a tone def cat would make if it had something in it's throat.  He jumped up, and did all this crazy stuff.  We got it on video, and I will attempt to post it sometime soon.  It is a little dark, but still it's adorable!!  

  I think that instead of the super bowl, i'll watch the puppy bowl.  It's sooooo cute!  Little puppies running around with toys in their mouth, splashing and playing in their water dishes.  It's too cute!  Yeah the super bowl is tradition, but i like puppies better.  :)  

When i come home every day, my doodle is there and always happy to see me.  i set down my stuff and say, Oliver, come give me a hug!.  so he comes to me, and throws his head on my shoulder and give me a big hug.  then he backs away and looks at me, smiles, and wags his tail at me.  I just love coming home to this.  no matter how tough the day was, when i come home and see Oliver,  i forget all about the due dates and things.  How can you not love that?  I'm glad Oliver's previous owners…
