Update: Grant the Great's battle ended 4/11/13. Grant was a very couragous little boy. Lexi wants everyone to know he is running around and playing ball with all the Doodle's.
Grant is 7 years old and he was diagnosed with a brain tumor known as ATRT. Grant has indured more in the last five and a half years than anyone should in a lifetime.
Grant’s tumor was found when he was only 16 months old. He woke in…

Harper is not even 4 months old and in need of a new home. A BYB was going to take her to a kill shelter because she supposedly has a leak issue. She wouldn't of had a chance there. Harper' leak issue is more than likely due to the terrible UTI she is suffering with. Which in turn caused urine burn and yellowing of the fur on her hind legs, butt and tail. I can only…

This morning watching Miley cuddle up to Edd & Sharon was very heart warming. It was so cute to see Miley and her new sister April together. Miley has another sister Nina that stayed home with the human one. If you can't tell from the pictures Miley is now a Green Bay Packers fan. Miley has always been a cheese head at heart it's…

Miley is really starting to make progress. We have been using a 25 ft lead outside. Miley will now stop for you to pick it up, instead of running the other direction. Once you have the lead in hand she will start walking toward you. Miley will walk along with you loose leashed, instead of pulling away from you. If Miley thinks we're going inside she will pull going toward the house. If you are sitting on the steps outside or in the grass she will come up to you on her own, sniff, touch…

Miley joined us on August 6th severely underweight, scared to death and only 9 months old. During the first 8 months of her life Miley received little to no socialization or training which makes everything seem so much scarier.
Miley is making progress daily, has gained 4 pounds and is a sweetheart. Until Miley can gain more weight it is not even safe for her…

Okay, most of you already knew this, lol.
I consider DK my extended family and have had so much fun getting to know people. This morning I discovered my status changed to HOPELESS DOODLE ADDICT. Seriously though, I had no idea and a little embarrassed to admit it. Okay, maybe not so much. What a great way to start the day!

Life has been crazy lately. Callie the foster doodle is such a sweetheart and it's been fun watching her develop. Clover and Callie play, play and play some more. My yard is going to need a little more grass seed. These two have made a race track around the pool, across the deck, to the otherside of the house and down the fence line to the pool. Who needs Calgon when you can watch a Doodle Race. It warms my heart and puts a smile on my face no matter what kind of day I'm…

Last Thursday I picked up our new foster Chelsea. Chelsea had to be shaved down to the skin because of all the mats. She only has hair around her eyes and the last 6 inches of her tail. When we got home I set a crate up in my daughters bedroom since she never plays in there thinking it would be a nice quiet place for Chelsea to adjust. Lexi got home from school we talked about Chelsea and her journey to us. Now most kids seeing a dog with no hair would ask what's wrong with it, not Lexi. The…

Clover is having one of those "It's Mine" days. Everytime I turn around Clover is doing something she has been trained not to do (at least I thought so). So the saying "It went down the toilet" has finally happened. Clover dropped my cell phone in the toilet and thank goodness she hasn't learned how to flush it. Remembering other funny lists I've read before inspired me to write one just for HER!
It it's in my crate, it's mine.
If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
If it's…
