As you may have seen it has been terrible weather in Australia, on the East coast at this time. Catastrophic fire danger, The temperature on our back patio was 40o C and just under 50oC in the back yard(not sure how accurate our weather station is), There 137 fires burning in the State, some deliberately lit ( I won't say what I would like to do to those criminals) Jasper stayed inside in front of the AC, almost had to force him out for toilet breaks. We vowed we would not get another dog for at least a year after the distress of losing Rusty in January 2010. We stayed in touch with our dog friends and when we were with them one afternoon one handed the local paper to my DH, he read it and said to me have a look at this.
