So Lola was spayed on Friday, I was a nervous wreck. This was probably the hardest part of the surgery. I asked so many questions, they probably thought I was so picky, especially since I was at a low-cost spaying/neutering clinic. However, the vet tech's put me at ease and answered all of my questions. The questions I came up with from reading all the information on here about other people's experiences. So the other day, I was putting on one of my tennis shoes to take Lola outside. While I was putting one on, Lola brought me my other shoe from the door to where I was sitting and set it down next to my foot. I was so happy, because I did not teach her to do this or anything. Doodles are so smart. The she went about her normal behavior of rubbing up on me and making a whining/howling noise, it is her way of speaking in the mornings, when we are going outside, and when we are going "bye-bye". Okay, so I was up late last night reading in bad, while Lola was sleeping in her bed in the bathroom. She was so peaceful. The next time I looked up from my book I noticed that her bed had a darker color surrounding her. I went to go check on her and she peed in her sleep! That is right, she was sleeping and didn't even notice until I woke her up. I thought it was pretty funny so decided to share it. Has that happened to anyone else? Is this normal?
