Chervil passes CGC test!

This week Chervil passed her Canine Good Citizen test! We've been in a prep class with the same fabulous trainer I've worked with since she was a puppy, and we've been practicing like mad--and then I did what some of you suggested in a different post: I tried to relax and have fun. So now I'm being a big goober and ordering the tag and badge and all that--SO compensating for a childhood bereft of awards!!

Puff Balls Everywhere

Oh my. . . for the past couple of months--after virtually no shedding at all--Chervil has started dropping big clumps of hair. She has a very thick, soft wavy-curly coat--and it takes considerable grooming to keep it in good shape. I brush her every night, and now I'm getting brush-fulls of hair. It's a bit like the worst of both worlds: lots of maintenance, and shedding, too. I just got a furminator, which pulled out a freaking' ton of hair. Splatter: A Scene from a Doodle Horror Film

My darling 15 month old Chervil just about did me in. Two days a week, we crate her for the afternoon while we're at work. She loves her crate so that's no problem, and we have a dog walker come in those days so she gets a good run in the middle of the afternoon.
