1st Rally competition for Kona
My little girl did absolutely Fantastic this last weekend at her first Rally competition :) It was wet and rainy, but she scored a 97 out of 100 on Saturday and ended up in Second place! On Sunday the sky's cleared but the ground was really soggy, she ended up with a score of 99 out of 100 for Fourth place and I was so proud!
Buddy, on the other had, got so excited on Saturday with all the rain that he had no focus what so ever! We did make it through the course, but I thought for sure we would disqualify since he tugged at the leash in my hand for half the signs :( How the judged scored it I don't know, but he ended up with an 86 out of 100 and fourth place. He titled with this qualification and went on to Advanced on Sunday. Advanced requires off leash, he was so great for the first time in the ring off leash. I kinda screwed up a sign and a jump, but he still got a first leg in advanced with another 86 score. On to CA in March..............

Congratulations! I know all about the focus problem. We just did our second Agility trial last weekend.
Tell me more about Rally.
