37 (and a bit) weeks old, and 29 (and a bit) weeks in!

Happy New Year everyone! Penny finally got her first taste (literally) of snow last Tuesday. When she first went out in it, she wasn't as giddy as I've seen lots of dogs in the past, it was snowing great big flakes and she just took it in her stride as if she'd seen it all before. It wasn't until the next morning after we'd had an inch or two that she really got to work, grabbing her favorite punctured ball and zooming round the back yard...eventually I managed to get some pix:

As a new decade starts, I will no longer be posting blogs with the "so many weeks old, so many weeks in" title, that's got a bit old for me now. I'm going to try and come up with another, and shorter generic title for future blogs, suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'd like to thank everyone on DK for making this site a very enjoyable experience this past few months, it's made having a puppy an even more enjoyable experinece, if that's possible. All the best for the future everyone, and thank you again.

Two of the kitties we can pick and cuddle...Skippy?...not so much! But it really isn't the same as puppy cuddling is it? And yes, whatever the wife says is the right way, especially as she is the bigger wage earner in the house. I know my place...hee hee!

Hi Kendra. I wouldn't say Penny was big (biggish maybe), but she certainly grew faster than Jeri and I thought she would. Jeri was saying the other day, how the 'pick her up and cuddle' stage didn't last very long at all. Maybe we should get a mini doodle too as well? And yeah Remington and Penny could be related huh? As could the other Penny on here "Michele and Penny the Wonderdog!"
