Got away for a few days (without the doods) to a campsite in the Adirondacks--While kayaking, I passed a family in a canoe with a young goldendoodle. We had a nice chat about the website and I told the owner to check it out. (I do that every time I meet a new doodle owner-I wonder if anyone does it?) Anyway, her cute little doodle had just gone swimming and she noticed how matted he was underneath the surface fluff. I was so glad I was a DK member and had learned about puppy coats and the like from the experts here. I was able to guess the puppy's age--8 months--and explain the process of puppy coat transitioning to adult coat to her. I told her to check out the grooming group for more info! I am always happy when I can help a new doodle owner!

Every Doodle owner I see I tell them they just have to join DoodleKisses. Nancy (Nancy, Ned and Clancy) actually hands out business cards for DK. I have all that stuff but when I am out with Gracie I am never carrying a wallet. Usually just stuff some money and a poop bag in my pocket and off we go!!!
