So many doodles at the parade!

Every fourth or July, we participate in a small parade in a tiny town nearby. Anyone who wants to march or have a "float' (usually a wagon that is decorated with flags) can march down the road and be a part of it all. It is really fun and a great place to have some social time with your dog. There are always great dogs there. Today, my two doodles and I were marching along and from the sidelines, people with doodles on leashes were asking me if my two dogs were doodles! This happened 5 or 6 times--this is a VERY SHORT parade, so to see all those doodles was pretty remarkable!

After the parade, I worked my way back through the gathering of parade-watchers and slowly found all the cute little doodles! They came in all sizes and colors, but all agreed that they thought they were great pets and were very happy that they chose to own a doodle. What fun!

I have pictures from last year--there are a few other doodles in those too--Here they are. I didn't have my camera this year! OOPS! The first one shows the group of people from my little hamlet of Red Rock marching, then there is one of my hubby and I leaving after the parade. Last is one of Lyric in the parade. I have another wil a bunch of doods from last year, but I can't find it at the moment. Will add if I locate it.
