A Sibling for Peri & Taquito!

We are pleased to announce that Peri and Taquito are getting a sibling...in late September/early October!!!

No, our breeder's waitlist is not THAT backed up....

It will be a HUMAN sibling!  I am expecting a little one!!!  I have been anxiously awaiting hitting my 12 week mark (tomorrow)..I am finally almost into my second trimester.  I wanted all of my DK friends to know as soon as I felt comfortable blabbing the news!

We purchased a doppler to use at home so we could hear the heartbeat in between my ob visits...we tried it yesterday and Peri and Taquito sat there listening to that heartbeat (sounds like race horses!), just cocking their heads. Taquito wants to sit on my stomach while we use it...hilarious!

Thanks in advance for all the well wishes!  I am feeling great (easy first trimester, no morning sickness, slightly fatigued) and looking forward to my nightly walk with the dogs!

Congratulations Allyson, you are going to love the experience.  Cherish each new day and change. My daughter is delivering her first in the next 10 days and she has loved every moment.  There are wonderful books out there to help you discover new things to look for and this is such a wonderful time for both you and your husband to learn and experience the development and growth of this little miracle.  I was able to interact with my soon to be granddaughter this weekend.  I would tap and push slightly on my daughter's tummy and the little girl would push back and move all around and then come back for more.  It was an experience and memory of a life time for me!  I am so happy for you and your DH!!
