Animal Control is Stalking Peri & Tacky

I thought the title might get your attention!  Don't worry....

 

So I always walk the dogs during the middle of the day - we still live in the condo and there is a "greenway" (wonderful pedestrian walkway) that goes around the golf course - part of it is by a busy two-lane road.  Last week, we were walking and this big van that said "Animal Control" :( :( passed by and slowed down.  The driver rolled down the window and smiled and said "your dogs are just adorable, can I take them?".  He was joking and I just laughed and said "no, I think I will keep them".  He then asked their breed, etc...and drove on.

 

Fast forward to the next day, we were doing mortgage stuff (oh so fun) at the bank and come out - guess who is parked next to me and DH?  Animal Control - same man!  And he passed us walking again, slowed, smiled and waved!  Are they stalking me? Do they want my dogs?  Just kidding, I think we are okay!  But I don't think they will be left off leash anytime soon!

Remind them not to take candy from strangers in vans!  But, seriously, at least he knows you now.  That could come in handy if Peri and Tacky ever get lost.

Ha!  Sounds like you have a friendly stalker.  Look at it this way - get the guy's name.  If they ever get into trouble, you have someone to call and bail you out!  lol
