Are You Looking For Gift Ideas for Your Doodle?

I came across this on FaceBook today. When I saw that it was constructed of cardboard my initial thought was "Oh sure....this will last about 1 MINUTE!!!" But, on viewing the video it actually looks like something Banjo would really love! It's called "The Amazing Treat Machine". Check it out here -

I think I may order one!

If you have 50 bucks burning a hole in your pocket - you can get a similar wooden version.

It looks like dog-gone fun, but if you have a dog who chews things I don't think it would last a few minutes let alone several months. My Springer would love it, Clancy would destroy it to get the treats, and Ned would look like the bored dog but actually he would be waiting for the others to free the treats and then swoop in and eat them.

Poor Hustler! I didn't even notice his "patch" and he does have alot of trouble walking about : (
I just showed the Amazing Treat Machine to DH....."hahaha".....um.....that was his response! He's convinced it may not be very Amazing - hmmmm.......he might be right (that happens now and then!) -I guess I'll sleep on it.

What's with the shaved patches on Hustler? Are they for some kink of testing, or treatment of his joint dysplasias? This treat machine would not work here. I have one doodle who is ball obsessed and leaves the food from his bowl scattered about when he decides to finally eat some, that would be Luca. The other doodle will eat any food in sight, that would be Calla. I think Luca would end up putting the ball in the box and feeding Calla!

I notice they also offer them in packs of 3. Maybe that is for training purposes!! They eat the first two and hopefully by the time you get to the third one they have learned the game!!

How tall is Banjo? I think the game might be too tall for Tara. We need a mini 'Amazing Treat Machine!" !!

Well you must post a video when you get him trained, that would be fun to see!

It looks like lots of fun. If you do order one let us know how Banjo likes it.

Unsupervised, Banjo would eat this is a heartbeat. But I think he'd enjoy playing with it and learn quickly that if he wants to eat the box it will be removed. He'll have to choose....the ball and treats or the box. He may prove me wrong...but I think he'll stick with the ball and treats.

I'm a skeptic when it comes to my doodles and a cardboard toy so I'll be anxiously awaiting your review if you decide to order one.

Well Rosey would like to play that game and Bandit would like to eat that box. He has a cardboard addiction so I don' t think that would last very long in our house. I have thought about buying Rosey a little basketball hoop though cuz she loves to play with her ball.
