Baby room transformation...have to share!

A year and a half ago I posted about my now-toddler's room (which of course never looked as put together after she was born).  Today we finally arrived closer to 'done' with the kids' room and I wanted to share the fun changes! (note it's NOT actually done yet, and a bit cluttered still...but that's probably what it will default to anyway...LOL).  There are two different colors for the walls...as you'll notice, and two walls for a girl and two walls that will be for a boy since they will be sharing the space. 

 

 

Aren't these doggy butts adorable?  A DK Member was kind enough to pick them up for me when I was traveling near an Ikea last month with Boca and baby in tow and then gifted them to me.  LOVE them!

 

There are still some things I want to do, but it's coming together well =)

I adore the room and think you were so clever in your dividing of it.  That green is one of my favorite cheery colors and it goes so well with the pink and the blue.  I need to see if the Ikea in my area has those butt hooks....

the room looks fabulous, and I love the bright colors and so will the kids...The dog butts are just sooo cute, I have to get myself to Ikea to see these and get a few....

found them on ebay - I hope to hang 2 in my truck with Command velcro tabs. Paws crossed that will work.

I first found the dog butt hooks at our local pet food store and bought a red one and a blue one for the dog's leashes (those STILL haven't been put up on the wall =)) then decided they'd be awesome in the kids' room but the food store only had a handful and in limited colors. They aren't quite built strong enough to hold much weight, but should be fine for a couple Darwin leashes, Camilla.

I love bright colors too (our living room walls are RED)...I can't handle the typical pastel look for baby rooms (but it depends) and I wanted something that would grow with them and be cool past infancy.

So darn cute....I remember the days way back when. I love the bright colors, a lot of people forget primary and go pastel, not much stimulation in that. LOVE IT!

Camilla, you can get them and use them for leashes, doesn't need to be for kids.

I love it! So fun. And those dog bum hangers? I want to get them for my house (IKEA right?) even though I don't have kids. LOL
