Bandit's Benadryl Blues

Poor Bandit has a inflamed paw. He is on antibiotics and Benadryl. I thought maybe a boat ride and a beach romp would cheer him up. He enjoyed the ride but took a rain check on the romping.

I don't know if I even want to show my husband the photo of the Jetboat! He'll have me all over creation looking to find one! What fun!

Poor Bandit! What a lucky dog to have someone take him boating in an effort to cheer him up! I guess that makes you a good Dude for your Dood! (so sorry!)

Hope Bandit is feeling better soon!! He does look a little sleepy but very relaxed on his boat ride!!

It's a 1997 Yamaha Exciter Jetboat. A very fun boat for creeks and rivers as it has no propellers sticking out.
It's essentially a twin engined jetski on steroids.

If you introduce the dog to the kayak or canoe in the front yard first it will make the whole process much easier.
Just sit them in the boat and give them a firm "Sit-Stay!"
After a few times they will gain trust in the boat and then floating will be a breeze.

Poor Bandit I hope his paw heals quickly *OUCH*....but I have to ask you Geoff, what type of boat is that in the picture? Maybe it's the angle of the shot but I've not seen one shaped like that before. Love your profile pic too. We're starting to introduce Gaston-Cramer to kayaking...yours look like they love it!
