That is adorable!  Kids do amaze me.  The way they think!  My little niece in 1st grade was in trouble one recess because she didn't get her work done.  So, she had to stay inside and work on it.  She was messing around still so the teacher told her if she didn't get it done she was going to have to stay in at recess the next day.  Emma said "no, I won't.  I'm not going to be here tomorrow, I'm going to have a headache!"  You just have to wonder where it comes from sometimes.

I love when you share little stories about Natalie, She is a few months younger than my grandson and he doesn't speak much, but we know he understands everything we say and communicates in his own way, mostly sign language. But hearing about Natalie confirms how much a 2 year old can process and understand even if they don't say things out loud. She is just the smartest 2 year old though.
