This Boca-girl is just the best little puppy ever! All my fears about getting a puppy with a baby seem like a big joke. She's so great! We've only gone on two walks because it's so darn hot, and she pulls like a banshee, but since we have a training plan for the near future it's not at all a concern. I just tie her leash to the stroller handle, hold Rosco's leash in hand, and stroll away with all my kids :-)
Today I got farther in desensitizing her to the nail dremel and I'm pretty sure I could have dremeled a few nails without her batting an eye-lash...but just to be sure we didn't actually try it. However, she targets the dremel (the back end not the moving part) on or off. She lets me touch the back part to her paws, on or off. And she is the most gentle treat taker EVER...the treats practically fall off her tongue as she takes them from my fingers =)
No accidents to date and she is keeping Rosco on his toes.
***Quick Update***
Here's who REALLY rules the Roost:
@F: Yes I am sure...she's not out of sight long enough indoors and rarely untethered/unconfined indoors so far. She's had more and more freedom in short supervised spurts...but still mostly tethered or expened or crated.
@Tante: I know! It's so funny...Rosco's like a boulder.
We have that toy and Allie loves it. I, not so much. The squeeker is pretty annoying but she loves it so it will stay. They are too cute together. She seems like she is becoming a family member!!
