We have a lot of information and discussion about this in The Food Group.

I saw this in the food group no Orijen in my area. Yesterday I went and bought 3 bags of EVO + got my free one experation date 03-11. The feed store was amazed that I knew they had sold thank you DK! The sales clerk was also upset over this she said that they will be notified if any changes are made by PG. It will take a month for the switch over. Local new pet supply store is pushing First Mate saying it's just as good as EVO brought home some samples and had to laugh 1st ingredient; potato flakes 3rd beet pulp! I'll just keep stocking up EVO until I find Orijen.

I know it isn't up there with EVO and Fromm's and Orijen, but we feed Blue Buffalo. Sort of a happy medium I think if I've read correctly in the food group. Just thought I would pass along that they have just come out with a Grain Free line if anyone wants to check it out. We've been feeding it with good success. Even transitioned our little foster boy from the junk he was on to Blue Buffalo with no problems.

We use EVO and tried switching to Solid Gold Barking at the Moon. It was ok but the poop was not as firm as on EVO, so even though is much higher in calories we went back to EVO. Now I am not sure what to do. Neither Fromm nor Orijen are sold in my town. I am going to see if Acana is close to us.

Dalai loves EVO and I have tried Orijen and Fromm. She prefers large kibble and does well on grain free. I really hate having to change foods since she is so fond of EVO. I will continue researching other grain free quality food that she might like. One thing is for sure, she LOVES homecooking!

There was just info about this in the food group! I would recommend people switch to Fromm if they want something with healthy grains and Orijen if they want something grain free. Hopefully Karen will pop in with more options for people. :)

I alternate Innova and Orijen grain free. I guess I will stick with Orijen.
