I'm was WalMart buying a bag of dog food for my dog. While in the check-out line, a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog food, RIGHT??? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Dog food Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. Who knew that weeding could be so dangerous?? We don't put any chemicals on the backyard lawn because of the girls. Needless to say, clover and some other weed has just taken over. I hate them so I spend hours sitting on the lawn with a small trash bucket and pick the weeds. I happen to enjoy the quiet time - just me and the weeds.

I received an email in my DK inbox from a member asking me how to donate money to the Doodle Rescue Collective. It seems that her 5 year just had a birthday party and instead of having friends bring gifts, this 5 year old asked friends to donate money to the DRC!! This is how it all came about.

Debbie & Mya came here yesterday and we took all the girls in my car to the local Deli for lunch. The back of the truck was open, all 3 girls waited so patiently for us to leash them up. We started walking to the deli and some num-nut older man stops us and says "why would you have this dog with these 2 beautiful Poodles". Dumbfounded, I answered "they are all labradoodles" and continued on our way.

I couldn't say anything else - I was in shock! I guess it was lucky for me…
