Can't Wait to Vacation With My Doodle

My family just returned from our 1st Annual Outer Banks vacation last night. We had such a great time. We stayed in a pet friendly house/area on Corova Beach. We saw a couple of doodles and of course I had to stop and say hello. Each person that I spoke with said "this is the best dog I have ever had"! I spoke with one doodle mom about her doodle and her small children (one being autistic) and she is just so happy with her doodle (6 mos). My goldendoodle is due anytime after tomorrow! This vacation really helped with the anxiety of waiting and my choice of selecting a doodle for our next family dog. All I could think about was how much greater our next year's vacation will be with MY OWN DOODLE on the beach, with my grandbabies, in the pool, etc., etc.

We where there in April and had the time of or lives.  Banjo and Mandy still miss the morning runs on the beach when the sun rises.  We are already making plans for next year.  I wish Jersey had the same rules for dogs.

Doodles ROCK.  I can remember taking Penny on her first vacation, up into the mountains.  She was in heaven and was just the most wonderful pet to be on vacation with.  You're going to have such a great one when it comes around.  Happy to have you here!

We just got back from a camping vaca with our doodle (and brussels griffon) and had a BLAST!! Vaca with dogs is so much fun :-)

Can't wait to hear about your puppy after it arrives!  Vacas with the doodles are the best, Rooney & Stuart and I are heading north to Michigan for two weeks, daddy will fly in for the weekends - cooler weather, here we come!!!

Welcome to this site, I am glad you found it too. I love taking Jack everywhere with me, To me a vacation just would not be as much fun without Jack being with me.  You will love having a doodle, just love it. Put the time in to train them and it will come back to you a hundred fold.  Good luck with your baby being born soon, Our second puppy was born a week ago today!!!

The most fun we've ever had with our doodle is watching his play at the beach and jump in and out of the pool. Yes, that will make for great fun and memories next year. I dread any vacation that I can't take my guys.
