Catching up with the last 2 pups--now 12 weeks old!

Yup, I still have two puppies here! Kodi is the new name for the chocolate pup who will fly to Canada on April 24th. I am keeping him until he is old enough to get his rabies shot and make the trip. The other male is named Capi--he will go to a guardian home once Kodi leaves--I am getting pretty tired, but the end is near and they are such good boys. They are making good progress with housebreaking and sit nicely for a cookie or their dinner bowl.

I do get paid, but frankly, it is not much--what was i thinking?

I am tired--- but luckily, there is not too much going on otherwise right now--except for yard work and the standard house cleaning etc. We have a pretty good routine and they pups entertain each other a lot--But it does tie me down every day--Since the third week of September, I have had just 6 weeks without pups so it will seem very strange--but in a GOOD way! I will miss the little guys, but it is time to do some other things with MY OWN dogs! Rio, now 15 months old, has been missing me like crazy and needs to go back to his obedience/therapy dog training, so that will be starting up as soon as these pups leave.

I have now heard that Capi will be here for about a week after Kodi leaves because the breeder has some other dogs she is boarding until then. Then he goes to her house at almost 4 months old! PHEW!!

I think I will sleep late then go to the mall for a the whole day on my first day off--shop, watch a movie, who knows? I will just enjoy the freedom! And my husband won't miss the gates everywhere--he hates climbing over them. I have longer legs and it isn't too much of a problem.

Wow, the are adorable.  You should be exhausted.  Hope they are paying extra for all the extra training they will already have received ... you are doing all the hard work.

Yeah, here I thought the beer was to help you relax but now I see you use it so keep the puppies manageable...your secret is OUT! LOL
