Cheddar's Homecoming!
Yep, you read that right. We named our 7.5 week old goldendoodle puppy Cheddar. And the name really suits him. I drove with my brother and his wife for 5 hours from the breeder's home to our home. Cheddar threw up 3 times and peed once on my lap. But we survived :)
He perked up when we got home and loves the kids. It helps that he was raised in a home with lots of kids. Overall it has been a great start, I have been a bit stressed but Cheddar is transitioning well and loves playing with all my kids. And he is doing great in his crate thanks to the breeder.

Thank you! My 8 year old came up with the name and it just stuck. Feta is a super cute name, but I promise not to steal it :)

Congratulations! I love the name Cheddar. He's darling!!!
I want to name a future puppy "Feta" but not sure if Clark will allow it :-( Either way, no stealing it if you get a white sibling for your Cheddar ;-)
